Wu Qing and Zhui Ming find a mark left by Leng Xue on some pole while out and about on the streets. After losing the two guys who were following them, they are able to locate Leng Xue. I don’t know about you but I find it really strange that Zhui Ming and Wu Qing act like they don’t know where Leng Xue is. It’s just weird, especially when they mention again and again that Zhui Ming hid Leng Xue and Li Mo away at a countryside residence. Like, can’t you just walk to this secret hideout and talk to Leng Xue instead of meeting in some random potentially unsafe location?

Zhui Ming and Wu Qing fill Leng Xue in on what’s going on (didn’t they do this last episode?). Afterwards, Leng Xue and Li Mo go to some ice cave to visit Zhu Ge who suggests that they run away instead of facing the wrath of the Emperor. Leng Xue refuses because they are unlikely to escape successfully and the best thing to do right now is to defeat ASG.

The Fifth:

• Ji Yao Hua tries to get Leng Xue and Li Mo’s whereabouts from Wu Qing, but fails. She is determined to locate them though. Uh-oh.
• Wu Qing witnesses Leng Xue and Li Mo’s loving chat about how Leng Xue does not sleep well at night and how Li Mo wakes up early in the morning to get herbs for him. He also learns that they have secretly committed themselves to each other. Awwww Wu Qing!
• Another finance official dies after trying to save coin molds from a fire, and Chun Tong makes him the scapegoat for the fake coin problem.
• ASG indirectly recommends Ji Yao Hua as the interim leader of Shen Hou Fu. Yikes!
