Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award

Woooo!

First, let us start of by saying how absolutely honored we are to have been nominated by both Kwon Sang Seung of Dramajjang and Only of Noonas Over Forks. Seriously, how lucky are we to be in such great company? We haven’t been at this for very long, but we have felt so welcomed and loved by everyone around us! Thank you all for your support! And here’s to more drama watching together! 🙂

Now onto the questions!

FROM KWON SANG SEUNG:

To makjang or not to makjang?

E: I’m okay with makjang as long as it is tastefully done (if that’s even possible), and not overpowering the whole series. Sometimes you just need something dramatic to get the characters together! I’m willing to see past that.

A: YES! I love soapy dramas; the more ridiculous, the better. That being said, I never tend to take those dramas very seriously.

Do you fall in love in every drama with a different actor/actress too?

E: Mmmmm, I think I fall in love with the characters more, haha!

A: Nah, I just can’t get on board with some actors/actresses despite how much I liked the drama.

Has your bias ever betrayed your feelings? And if yes, when?

E: Do I have a bias? Anna, who is my bias?

A: E, you do like Colin Firth a lot…haha. I have biases toward certain actors/actresses, but not enough to make their works a must-see or skip.

colin firth

seriously though, how do you say no to this face?

Do you like Cho Yong Pil’s music and generally, 80s South Korean music?

E: To be honest, I had to look him up lol. I clicked on a random song that popped up and I think I can dig it.

A: Haven’t heard much, if any, of 80’s South Korean music, but I’d give it a go!

Which are your favorite 2015 drama and/or movie for the time being?

E: I guess it will have to be My Sunshine for the time being, but there are so many new shows cropping up I’m hopeful there will be even better ones!

A: Eye in the Sky for sure. Kevin Cheng and Ruco Chan in one drama? That’s 20 episodes of eye candy! The story is great too, but all the handsomeness is a very lovely added bonus.

Which actor/actress would you like to see in a drama during 2015?

E: I miss JGS and I want him to comeback. He just needs a better script, I swear!

A: Louis Koo in a comedy. I know he’s too busy being movie star, but I miss his face on TV!

After Kill Me, Heal Me ended, how many personalities did you acquire? If you haven’t watched it yet, why?!

E: I haven’t seen it through yet, just maybe episode one. I love Ji Sung, but this series just didn’t capture my attention right off the bat.

A: I haven’t watched any of it probably because I don’t really like medical dramas.

To have loved and to have lost or to have never loved?

E: Probably the first.

A: To have loved and to have lost. That phrase always reminds me of the movie, Moulin Rouge.

Have you ever drank soju? And if yes, did you get drunk?

E: Yes, and no I did not 🙂

A: Yup, and nope, no drunkenness. Although…after A LOT of it, things were definitely getting tipsy.

so embarrassing!

we don’t turn out like this, thank goodness!

Would you do the chincha dance with me?

E: Do you really want to see me dance? ^^

A: If someone is willing to teach me first.

FROM ONLY:

Nutella or peanut butter?

E: It used to be Nutella, but I have taken a stance against child labor and ethical issues in chocolate production, so now I do not eat it.

A: Peanut butter.

Sushi or ramen?

E: Sushi hands down. I love me some sashimi to be specific 🙂

A: Sushi, but could I also get some ramen on the side?

Which drama would you recommend to anyone?

E: In Time with You because it’s AMAZING. Yes, all in CAPS.

A: The addictive My Love from Another Star. Not because it’s my favorite drama of all-time, but it’s one that will appeal to almost everyone. It’s nearly impossible to not love Kim Soo Hyun or his drama character!

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you travel, and what would you eat there?

E: I’ve wanted to go to Iceland since middle school when my English teacher told me about her trip there, but I don’t think there’s much food culture there (prove me wrong, Iceland!) so I also want to go to Korea to eat all the food in Let’s Eat. MMMMMM.

A: Osaka, Japan, and I’d obviously eat everything there! But more specifically, I want to try all (yes, all) their street foods. I’d also swing by Hong Kong during that trip to further stuff my face with food, of course.

What was your favourite meal in a drama?

E: Like every single dish in Let’s Eat. I want whatever they are having, please!

A: The crab fried rice cooked in crab shell in A Taste of Love. Been dreamin’ about that one since 2001. Fun fact: That was Raymond Lam’s first major role!

Bonus question:
How many of these Chinese dumplings have you tried? How many would you like to try?

E: 26! But there seemed to be a lot more that I need to try! Yummmmmmm

A: 18…gotta try ’em all now!

‘My Sunshine’ is the first drama of this year that I watch from start to finish. My love for YiChen runs too deep. It’s too bad he only got eyes for MoSheng.

  2. Loved the dual core of the answers! I should have put a small disclaimer on the chincha dance thingie because it gets a variety of answers 😀 It doesn’t require any specific dance skills, all it needs is a favorite song, a welcome amount of loud volume and you doing just whatever to the rhythm of the song, something that if anyone saw at that moment would be like -chincha?! and you’d reply back -chincha!!!! full of awesomeness haha! Here’s to more drama watching, drama blogging and the best irl!

That was a good read guys!!! It is so true that “You from the stars” is the kind of dramas that could appeal to almost everyone. And I need to watch “In Time With You” before the K-Version comes out… cause it’s coming out this year.

Do you guys plan to watch “Let’s Eat 2”??
