After dinner, Ying Hui challenges Yi Chen to a round of pool.

Ying Hui: Lucky people do not need to work hard, but those who are unlucky work until their lungs burst.
Yi Chen: That’s President Ying’s current state, no? 

It is getting late, but Ying Hui is still not letting Yi Chen go back. I mean of course not! He doesn’t want Yi Chen to return to Mo Sheng. And so Mo Sheng waits and waits and waits, but no bueno, no Yi Chen in sight. And then men down some sponsored Red Bull. Aiyah, so much product placement!

The next morning, Mi Fei Er’s interview is not going too well. First, she doesn’t give them much time. Second, when Mo Sheng asks her to take off her sunglasses for the photoshoot, she says she is doing this purely for a friend (aka Ying Hui) and she doesn’t want to show her whole face because it will only bring shame. What in the world???

Yi Chen comes by with the red bean soup that Mo Sheng likes. Mi Fei Er asks Mo Sheng if Yi Chen is the one she gave up Ying Hui for.

Mo Sheng: You said you don’t want to talk about personal stuff during interviews.
Mi Fei Er: Personal stuff? What, were you too insecure of your face that you picked a less successful man to be with in case you get dumped?
Mo Sheng: He is a very successful lawyer.
Mi Fei Er: Lawyer? Just someone who takes care of other people’s cases.
Mo Sheng: And you are just someone who makes clothes for other people.

Right afterwards Yi Chen compliments Mo Sheng on her wits. He says this is the first time he has ever noticed how witty she is. He asks if this is what they call 近墨者黑 or “the closer you get to ink the darker you will become” implying that he is rubbing off on her.

The cute couple take a nice little vacation together and go around Hong Kong chilling and playing. So cute!!!! ❤

Mo Sheng: Yi Chen, it is like we are dating.
Yi Chen: If I remember correctly, we are already married.

Mo Sheng wonders if Yi Chen really doesn’t mind, but she decides that she won’t bring it up since the mood is so good. She thinks to herself that one day sooner or later Yi Chen will find out the truth and then he will have to apologize to her! Or girl, you can go ahead and tell him now so you guys can get over this misunderstanding. Geez!

Back in Shanghai, Yi Mei asks Yuan Feng out for coffee because she wants him to get in touch with Ying Hui for an interview. He is obviously a little disappointed, but Yi Mei neglects his feelings and just keep on talking about work and how much she needs his help. Yuan Feng agrees, thinking that he might have to ask his dad for help.

Meanwhile, Mo Sheng and Yi Chen finish up their shopping. Mo Sheng heads back to the hotel while Xiang Heng gets Yi Chen a case in Hong Kong. Guess who is the client? Mi Fei Er! Her Hong Kong lawyer, Chris, highly recommends Yi Chen for her new case in mainland, but she isn’t interested. Yi Chen also tells her he doesn’t want to take her case either. After Yi Chen leaves, Chris warns Mi Fei Er that Yi Chen might be the only lawyer who can help her. Well, with that stink ball attitude I’m not surprised she landed herself in some serious doodoo.

Before long it is already time to go back to Shanghai. At the airport, Yi Chen wants to upgrade Mo Sheng’s tickets to business class, but she doesn’t want to get special treatment so he tries switching over to economy. However, economy is full, so they end up being in separate sections. Of course, none of this is without a purpose, because guess who is sitting across from Yi Chen?! HA! HA HA! I don’t understand why Ying Hui doesn’t get first class because he clearly is supposed to be rolling in cash.

Ying Hui: Lawyer He, it’s doesn’t matter what, but don’t you agree that if someone is too nervous about it it is because he is too insecure?
Yi Chen: What is considered nervous?
Ying Hui: I consider traveling a long distance just to see someone after only one day of separation as nervous behavior.
Yi Chen: Ah, that’s just a little fun between husband and wife. President Ying is single, so it’s normal that you don’t understand. Unfortunately for President Ying, you came so excitedly but now you must leave with such disappointment. Yet you are still in such a good mood to chit chat.
Ying Hui: Leaving with disappointment? What do you mean, Lawyer He?
Yi Chen: The party.
Ying Hui: I’ve already been very polite. You should know, I am capable of a lot more.
Yi Chen: I’ll look forward to it then.

Worthy of Note:

• Turns out Yi Chen actually has a room in the Hong Kong hotel. When Ying Hui finds out, Yi Chen is in disbelief that Ying Hui fell for it. Ying Hui mutters “lawyer” under his breath. Heheheheheh.
• Linda delivers a nice dress to Ying Hui’s ex. The ex tries to refuse the gift, and asks Linda to pass on the message that she is not interested in luxuries, she just wants to talk to him. I think this girl is divorced? But what is Ying Hui trying to insinuating? Don’t give the girl false hope, that’s mad rude!
• Xiao Hong finds out Mo Sheng and Yi Chen are married! Finally somebody knows!
