Reunion time!

Estelle’s Recap

While out shopping, Mo Sheng picks out a suit for Yi Chen and uses his card to pay. Man, home girl is getting really used to spending Yi Chen’s money now huh? Who was the one who didn’t want his card in the beginning? Hmmm? Anyway, as she signs the receipt, she thinks of the time Yi Chen corrected her stroke order for He, his last name.

Mo Sheng: We are not quite like husband and wife. We are more like we are dating, but we are already married. It’s like we have a promise already.

Yi Chen picks up Mo Sheng and receives the gift she has been hiding behind her back. She asks if in exchange for the gift he can take her to the university reunion, and also, she used his card. LOL.

It’s the day of the reunion and Yi Chen doesn’t plan on attending. A disgruntled Mo Sheng decides that she will go with Lawyer Yuan then, but of course, Yi Chen gets mad jealous and decides to go after all.

Yi Chen: Don’t bother other people.

Yi Chen and Mo Sheng arrive on campus. She says she remembers meeting him the first day on campus and he comments “what a disastrous start.”

Suddenly, Mo Sheng sees people selling university uniforms and decides to buy two. She forgets her wallet and takes his again. Cute!

They head on over to some building and Mo Sheng asks Yi Chen to take her picture. Despite his disbelief at her insistence on wearing the uniform in the picture, he agrees, but then he forgets to remove the lens cover lol. Finally, he takes the picture and one look at it Mo Sheng tells him it’s terrible because she looks fat. He tells her because it’s a reflection of the truth.

Yi Chen heads over to the law building to meet up with his bros. Everyone crowds around Yi Chen wondering why he is wearing the uniform. Out of embarrassment, Yi Chen quickly puts his suit jacket and Xiang Heng teases Yi Chen, saying he must have bought it because of Mo Sheng. Hahahaha!

Some old classmate asks Lawyer Yuan if Yi Chen is still without a girlfriend because he wants to introduce his cousin to Yi Chen. Xu Ying comes by to say Yi Chen’s taste is so terrible he won’t be interested in this awesome cousin. The classmate says his cousin has great temperament and is super cute, complete opposite of her. LOL, ha, ha ha!

Meanwhile Mo Sheng attends Ying Hui’s presentation in this high tech room. Mo Sheng overhears girls around her gossiping about his past and how great it would be to marry a guy like him. Apparently he came from the countryside and was really poor. His college sweetheart was super pretty, but they broke up in the end because she wanted to get employed by the school so she got together with some school staff’s son. And so Ying Hui went abroad at that point.

Ying Hui’s presentation comes to an end and it is Q & A time. After a few guys pose some serious questions related to INSO, a girl inquires about his love life, whether it is as fantastical as his career history. After some hesitation, Ying Hui decides to answer. He says that in comparison to his career his love story is more amazing, however it is only between him and his wife. He ends how he hasn’t seen his wife in a long time, but he hopes to see her soon. Eck, just go away!!!

Good thing Mo Sheng didn’t hear Ying Hui’s dramatic presentation of their relationship because some girl next to her got hurt and she went to the school medical clinic with the girl. After the girl is all set, Mo Sheng pulls out Yi Chen’s phone and calls him to tell him she misses him. He immediately gives her directions to the restaurant where he is at.

At the restaurant, the classmate from before introduces his cousin to Yi Chen. Xiang Heng interrupts them to ask Yi Chen about the whereabouts of Mo Sheng, referring to her as Yi Chen’s wife. This classmate is all confused and Lawyer Yuan comes by to say he didn’t ask if Yi Chen has a wife! Wife is not girlfriend. Oh, Lawyer Yuan, ever the joker.

Mo Sheng and Yi Chen arrive at the restaurant and suddenly some dude runs up to her calling her Mrs. Ying. She tells the guy he has mistaken, but he does not relent despite the fact that Yi Chen and Mo Sheng were holding hands.. Just then, Ying Hui comes by and the dude calls him over to see Mo Sheng. What the heck! How awkward! Luckily Ying Hui explains Mrs. Ying is in Sweden on vacation. Good save! Thank you, Ying Hui. Okay fine, you can get two points back out of ten.

Once Ying Hui left, Yi Chen lets go of Mo Sheng’s hand immediately and tells her to write a report later detailing where did she go for so long that she did not return home. Awwww. Mo Sheng says she wants to talk about her time in the States. Yay! Finally almost there!

Over lunch, one of Yi Chen’s classmates bring up the Professor Zhou’s run in with Mo Sheng. Mo Sheng mentions that she doesn’t know the classmate, and Yi Chen says Professor Zhou tells everyone this story. Xiang Heng tags on that Professor Zhou introduces Yi Chen as the boyfriend of the girl in this story, but by that time, she was already in the States. The lunch moods suddenly gets a little chilly. Luckily Lawyer Yuan points out the pink elephant in the room and calls for everyone to drink.

Soon after, Yi Chen excuses himself to use the restroom and guess who is there? Ying Hui! The two stare each other down, of course. When Yi Chen comes back, Lawyer Yuan informs him that someone just called to congratulate them on a future collaboration with INSO.

It’s night time and Mo Sheng falls asleep from drinking too much, and Yi Chen princess carry her onto the bed. He gives her a kiss on her forehead and tugs her in. I’m assuming at this point they talked things through?

Yi Chen: You were once so close to me. Why did you come back?

Or maybe not? The next morning, Mo Sheng and Yi Chen enjoy an awkward breakfast together. Yi Chen explains that she was drunk the night before, and that he doesn’t care about the past so don’t talk about it. Argh, just talk it through!!! This is important!

Worthy of Note:

• Creeper Ying Hui stalks Mo Sheng and Yi Chen. When he sees how happy they are together he tells Linda that he is late again, but as long as he gets Mog sheng back, he doesn’t care about the cost.
• Some girl asks Yi Chen for his digits but he says his phone is with his wife. Lawyer Yuan says he can give his number though but the girl just walks away. LOL.
• Yi Chen picks up Mo Sheng on a bike to go to the restaurant. He complains that she takes so long to get there even though it’s just a few steps away. Where did he get this bike from???

• The password to Yi Chen’s phone is Mo Sheng’s birthday. Awwwww ❤
